Abdullahi Hamud

Abdullahi Hamud Mohamed is a seasoned leader with extensive experience in public service, economic development, and private sector management. Formerly the State Minister at the Somali PM’s Office (2018), he has served as an Economic Development Adviser to the Office of the President and led stabilization initiatives within Somalia’s government.
Abdullahi is the founder and Executive Director of the Management Institute for National Development (M.I.N.D). With a background in strategic management from his tenure at Sainsbury’s PLC in the UK, he brings a wealth of expertise to Yasmin Foundation. Abdullahi holds a BSc and MSc in Development Economics from SOAS, University of London.
